Thoughts of Thanksgiving

I have to admit, some time last week I started wishing for Thanksgiving. I really couldn't wait to have Halloween over & done with.

Now that it is officially November 1st, (and yes, I have already packed away my Halloween decor) I can turn all my attention to thoughts of Thanksgiving, that is until Christmas begins to creep up on me!

So I've been scouring the internet for pretty Thanksgiving ideas and thought I'd share some of them with you.

I love this centerpiece...a pedestal dish of pears flanked by roses.

My Home Ideas

The colors of this tablescape are so vibrant, I love them.

Country Living

I love this vignette and wish I had a large vintage scoop so I could copy it.

Better Homes & Gardens

Another pretty table.

White is always pleasing.

Now that the cobwebs have been swept away & the ghouls retired for another year, are you having thoughts of Thanksgiving?

  8. I love the vintage scoop.
I am excited that I am "not" having Thanksgiving this year. I have it all the time. Last year I was going to be in COlorado over Thanksgiving so I had an early dinner on the Sunday before.
I love it when I don't have to cook......getting lazy in my old age, hah.

  9. Hi Gina! I could have written this post myself. Didn't get all my Halloween out this year, and I was constantly thinking of which pumpkins I had that would also work straight into Thanksgiving! Love the Fall and all the pics you shared today!

  10. Gina, I love them all! I put away all the Halloween decor today, too. I decorated our dining table, but they are not anywhere as pretty as these! I love the pedestal on the first photo with the roses. I might try something like that closer to Thanksgiving! Nice post!

I am not having Tgiving, and the painter is due, so when he finishes I am moving on to Christmas! :)

  22. I always struggle as a Canadian with the idea of Thanksgiving arriving between Hallowe'en and Christmas...I can imagine how hard it is not to bring in the Christmas but probably not a bad thing. Trouble is, Christmas music is all over the place already! Enjoy getting ready for Thanksgiving!

It's funny that you mention wanting Halloween to be over. My family insisted on having turkey today. So we did with all the trimmings. lol
