Valentine's Day Decor

Valentine's Day is quickly approaching
and while I don't do a lot of decorating for this particular day,
I do like to add a little something to honor it.

I decided to give my dining room hutch a little
"love treatment."

♥♥♥

It's all very simple,  yet after decorating for Winter in mostly
white & gray, I have to say I'm enjoying the pop
of color the red is bringing me.

Happy Valentine's Day, sweeties!

♥♥♥

  6. How pretty while being simple, not fussy. Great look. Love how your dresser (?) looks with red and white items. Love white cage with bird on top and candle. I have few metal cages gotten at Hobby lobby on sale last year, had to stop buying them as hard to find place to store them when not in use. I put them all away for holidays then ended up getting couple out for holiday displays.
Hope you and yours are doing very well. Life sure whizzes by doesn't it. Where in the dickens did 2015 go? Have you been busy lady? How is daughter in college or is she done already?
One of our grand daughters is going to Dominican University in San Rafael, CA on scholarship. Sure miss her. She won't be coming home to CO til next year for holidays as she's going to be an AuPair for family in northern Italy for summer. The last week she'll be there family and her are going to Copenhagen. Wow, how I envy he, glad she's brave and going to do something so wonderful while she can.
Take care of yourself have great weekend

  8. Wishing you a happy heart day! Your decor is just the right amount of red loveliness! I don't decorate for Valentine's Day. I did get my nails done and got a wee red heart on two nails though... That could count!

  11. Hi, just wondering on the etiquette of someone using your exact post and selling it has her own years later. it's really odd that in our small town a couple thousand miles away from you and 3 years later would have the exact door, umbrella, tulips and even the little clip used to hang the umbrella on the door.
